The Hague is the third largest city of the Netherlands, although it is not the capital, but we all know there are numerous well-known international trial of the International Tribunal for the prisoners. The train from Amsterdam to The Hague is very frequent, about 15 minutes per trip.
We caught up with the train at 16:59 to CS station. Less than an hour we came to The Hague central station CS, the station is small, but the Dutch are so enthusiastic.
We took a map of The Hague, ready to walk to the first attractions of the Capitol (Binnenhof) nearby.But going out of the station, we can not find the direction, quickly we ask for directions to an old lady,the old lady could speak English , she tell us that we are in the wrong direction, and then suggested we do the other side of the street to the bus, a few station to go.
To the other side of the street really have stations we saw a Dutch girl waiting for a train in the station, I approached her to ask what to do Binnenhof road vehicles, the results had to be where she is under, so we told her the car, talking and laughing along the way, we feel very happy.
Several stations later, we came to the Binnenhof, it has the meaning of the Court, Parliament House, Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Foreign Affairs are all here. Binnenhof is a lake construction, broad lake sparkling, it is beautiful; where the buildings are built around the thirteenth century, the old brick Gothic house structure and shape; the side of the Capitol is a quiet courtyard , stone-paved road underfoot, paresthesia dignified; the other side of Capitol Square is the back door, the middle square to erect a statue of the Dutch father of Oranje.
Around the square is a row of open-air cafes, tourists are gathered here to have a rest . one Corner of the square is the gross Ritz House Museum (Mauritshuis Museum) which is called one of Holland’s most beautiful buildings.
